Brothers of the Mighty 6^th District, I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ from whom all blessing flow.

Thank you for allowing me to serve another term as your 43^rd District Representative. I am honored, excited, and very fortunate to serve in this position. My commitment to service and advancing the will of the Brotherhood in the 6^th District is something I will always hold near and dear to my heart. I am eager to continue this journey and, without question, I know the 6^th District will continue to thrive.

The 78^th Sixth District Annual Meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina was truly a success. We had a record number of brothers attending along with new corporate partnerships and community programs.

My plan is to continue finding ways to address current issues and challenges. Our society is approaching a tipping point as we continue to witness our country’s legislators trying to change the voting rights of the people, banning African American history in our schools, DEI issues, sabotaging reproductive rights, refusing to address health gap disparities, turning a blind eye to gun safety regulations, and the senseless killing of our black and brown brothers and sisters from our law enforcement, just to name a few.

Yes, my brothers, it is time for Omega to lead the charge to make sure that the voice of our people is being heard. To be effective, each chapter, graduate and undergraduate, will have to work together to speak with one voice, one sound, and one determination to impact. Calling to Action: Voter Rights, Voter Participation and Civic Engagement will be the key for the elections in 2024. I want to assure you that the Executive Team will work hard to make the district more responsive and relevant to the brotherhood than ever before.

As your District Representative, I will keep the course utilizing 21st-century thinking and operations to address 21st-century brothers as well as 21st-century communities. The goal is to turn challenges into opportunities. I want to assure you that the Executive Team will work hard.  We are only a phone call or email away, so please share your ideas, challenges, and suggestions with us so we can continue to make our District even stronger. We will continue to work those areas where we are leading with excellence, identify best practices to improve areas that require additional attention and build if we are not satisfied with what’s available. We will focus on using technology, social media, and advanced communications to make our meetings and communications more effective and efficient. This is what our strategic plan calls for, so let’s see it through.

In closing, my challenge and mission to each of you is to assist us in moving forward as a District. Let’s keep up with the trends in technology and communication. My brothers, I ask that you get in the room with our active committees, mandated programs, cardinal principles, and a new direction. Let’s begin our process of change, commitment, and thinking differently about how we can become more efficient while serving our communities. The Difference you make makes all the Difference. The difference each one of you makes, makes all the difference.
